Beverly Knox Davis

Minister Beverly Knox (Davis) resides in Charlotte, NC. Born in Queens, New York but reared in Charlotte, NC most of her life. She obtained a BA, concentrating in Computer Information Systems from North Carolina Central University, May 1991. She has been an Information Technology Professional for almost 30 years, obtaining numerous awards and acknowledgement for skill and dedication. Minister Davis has obtained a Classroom Management certification from the Children’s Ministry Academy and Project Management Professional’s Certification from the Project Management Institute. She is an entrepreneur and the proud Founder for A Brighter Day – BND Ministries, non-profit, 501c3 for over 12 years. Minister Davis has been a faithful servant in church, where she has served as the Youth Minister, and countless other roles. Minister Davis obtained her Ministerial license in September 2018 and will begin ordination efforts 1st quarter 2020. She recently received the Mayor’s Mentoring Alliance Award in 2018 for Business Partnership of the Year, the Wells Fargo Community Service Award 2018, the Queen City Sisterhood “Women Who’s Made It” Award 2019, The Non-Profit Community Service Leader Award by To Serve with Love Ministries in 2019, ACHI Community Leader Award 2019 and nominated for the Mayor’s Mentoring Alliance for Mentor of the Year 2020. Minister Davis is the proud mother of her daughter, Ashlyn Davis (18) and Jayden Davis (17) both accepted at North Carolina Central University. She aspires to open a Community Life Center in the heart of the neighborhood where she grew up in the Hoskins Community in Charlotte, North Carolina where she will spend her retirement year making the dreams she had a child reality for this low-income community

Christina Mial

Christina Mial made her debut with her Amazon best seller, “By His Stripes: A Story of Redemption” in 2013. She is the founder of By His Stripes Outreach Ministries, an organization whose main focus is to be the hands and feet of God to those that have hit a hard bump in life. Other literary works can be found published under Union Gospel Press, an organization of nondemoninational Christian literature. Christina resides in North Carolina with her four children where she pastors the NC Campus for Divine Grace Ministries Intl. Christina is recognized nationally for her work as an advocate of domestic violence, being a survivor herself. She has been interviewed on many radio and television programs including Deanna Hamilton’s “The Great Mentor”. Carolyn Johnson Hunter

Carolyn Hunter is a humble servant of God, a mother of two children, and grandmother. She is a licensed minister and boldly proclaims the Word of God and sings His praises. She continuously declares and decrees Luke 1:37 – “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Carolyn is a Registered Nurse who works for a Family Medical Practice in North Carolina. She has provided patient care for a diverse population of patients for nine years. She began her nursing career at 45 years of age. With God and determination, she graduated in 2018 from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington (UNCW) with her bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN). Before entering the profession of nursing, Carolyn worked in retail management for over 28 years which helped to develop communication skills used today in her nursing profession. Through trials and tribulations, Carolyn stands strong in God pursuing her master’s in nursing at UNCW.

Charniece Harris

Charniece Harris was born in Kansas City, KS, September 8, 1968. She relocated to Kinston, NC where she was raised by her maternal grandparents. She is the mother of Ra’Mel Harris (deceased) and is the oldest of five siblings. Harris’ life has been one of challenges. She struggled with the disease of addiction for over 30 years and battled depression. Seven years ago, in desperation, she entered into a 12-Step program and started her Road to Recovery. In 2012, she graduated from Fayetteville State University with a BS in Criminal Justice. Harris currently works in the finance industry and is a successful entrepreneur. The evidence and recipient of God’s grace, she shares freely her experience, strength, and hope with others. Dedicated to helping those afflicted with addiction; Harris sponsors several individuals in the program that helped save her life. She resides in Greenville, NC with her dog, Hugs.

Debbie Baxter

Debbie J. Baxter is a native of Lecompte, (Rapides Parish), Louisiana. Growing up in a small town, she values the closeness of friends and family. She was born and reared as an only child, who had instilled in her by her parents, to always kept an attitude of gratefulness. Growing up, she was not allowed to have any sense of entitlement (being spoiled), but rather, appreciation for everything, from the smallest, to the greatest. She attended & graduated high school in Rapides Parish. Went on to trade school, graduated GPN, passed boards, became an LPN, remained in that field for 25 years. She shifted careers from nursing, to working in a call center, to current working at a law firm. It doesn’t matter where she finds herself, she is always embraced, and given the title, “sunshine”, because of her desire to see joy, love and happiness spread. She is a part of the Total Life Changes Family, a magnificent health and wellness company. She’s the mother of 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. They are the loves of her life and the push that makes her continue to strive, thrive, and succeed. She has a passion and love for music, which started her on a path of demand at the early age of 12, where she got her first opportunity as the musician for the Jr choir of a local church. She never looked at it as a job, but as something she loved to do and wanted to share. This passion, over the years has taken her many places, churches, where she has been the musician, choir director, praise and worship leader, and soon to be, Gospel Artist, with her first single, “God Said It,” being released in 2020. Her goal in life is to help others know that regardless of what life experiences have come your way, you can live not only beyond your circumstances, but because of your circumstances. They came, you lived through them, now use them to catapult yourself and others to your destiny. Detra Tyler

Detra Tyler can usually be found reading a book, and that book will usually be influentially positive and thought provoking. Sharing her story of impact moments was her thrust from God, which will help women overcome their past and share their story. She enjoys spending time with family and friends creating memories and learning to be in the present moment. Detra’s passion is to be a relevant voice to single moms, sharing her ups and downs to encourage them in their faith, and hopefully, to provide words of wisdom, a hug of comfort and ear to listen along the way. She is the mother of four beautiful daughters Tasia, Khadijah, Olivia and Isabella. At the cusp of becoming the ever-evolving woman God created her to be, she is hub of The Tabernacle Church as Administrator Director. Serving her community through outreach, connect groups and serving in her local church. Detra is a native of Chadbourn NC.

Donna Cox

Donna Morris Cox is a Life Changer representing Total Life Changes. She helps guide, coach and encourage individuals who want to take their health back and lose weight. Donna began her career with TLC in February of 2018. After losing 54 pounds herself, she found early success in the business and was able to quit her full time accounting job in May of that same year. Donna’s love for helping others achieve their goals and live happier, healthier lives is her motivation for doing this type of work. Working with TLC has given Donna the opportunity to become a published author. Thanks to the vision of Tonya Joyner-Scott, Donna was chosen to contribute to the “SHINE” Project which includes a book and documentary. Donna lives in Maryville, Tennessee, a beautiful small town at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. When not working she enjoys spending time with her husband John and her adult children, TJ and Julie. Donna is an avid reader enjoying the works of Stephen King, John Saul, Dean Koontz and other authors of suspense.
 

Iretha Alston

Iretha is a North Carolina Natve. Born and raised in Spring Hope North Carolina.She was raised by her mother, along with six siblings . At a young age she served in the military, hoping to make her mother proud. In the book Shine Iretha describes her journey in the military as the beginning to the ended. She never knew what serving her country would cost her. She servered for over nine years. Iretha is a mother of 3 sons, two daughter in laws and one handsome grandson.. In 2018, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer and is currently in remission. Iretha embodies the definition of a fighter, prayer warrior and woman of God.

Jenelle Flythe-Brownlow

I am the proud wife of an Amazing husband, Thomas J. Brownlow, and the mother of 6 Beautiful children: Cedric Jr., Andre, Marcus, Jenea, Shamar, and Sarah. I am a Successful Business Woman, a Visionary, a Person of Influence, a Motivational Speaker, and a Published Author. I have zero college degrees and no formal training. I became a Successful Business Owner earning 6 Figures a year out of sheer will and determination. Failure was NEVER an option. I fought hard to become the woman you see today. I only became strong and independent AFTER I was broken. My worst pain and darkest days lifted me to my highest platform. God blessed me generously in the business arena, but by far my my deeper calling and true purpose is to help restore broken vessels, especially those recovering from sexual abuse and domestic violence. To minister to those who “broke the code of silence.” I’m here to encourage, uplift, and inspire.

KaTonya Freeman

KaTonya Freeman is a native of Kinston NC. She is a graduate of Kinston High School and Mitchells Academy. She now resides in Raleigh, NC where she serves the community. KaTonya is the wife of Van Jr. and together they are the proud parents of 7 children and 3 grandchildren. She is a servant, encourager, songwriter, praise/worship leader, mother, and wife. Evangelist KaTonya is a longtime member of City of the Great King, where Dr. Marvin Smith is the pastor. She has served over the years as a youth leader, board of directors, planning committee, evangelistic team, and many more. She has been ordained in ministry and serves as Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor. KaTonya believes that those called into ministry must serve and exemplify love to all. She serves all and mentors many throughout the world. KaTonya’s mantra is “KINGDOM MINDSET 100” Keep it going! With a Kingdom Mindset we have a mindset to please God and do His will 100 percent. Yet if we fall, we are to get back on course and keep it going! A Kingdom Mindset will stay the course no matter what. One of her favorite scriptures is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me”.

Kelonyee Sloan

I Am BEYOND GRATEFUL for my Sisters in SHINE. They are the LIGHT Upon my runway enabling me to FINALLY see in order to get off the ground. I AM Taking FLYTE. For the past 28 years I have been flying for a major airline and maintaining a marriage and raising children on the fly. After 26yrs the marriage crashed and burned from the residue of toxic communication ,financial fall out ,and broken vows. Today, I am no longer grounded from over sized baggage. I have new light weight carry on bags that only hold my personal items. My hands are free, so I can place my oxygen mask on MYSELF First before helping others. My Wings have Always Existed. All there is to do Is FLY. I am grateful for my family and friends who are the wind beneath my wings. I Am Beyond Ready to take flight to my divinely designed destination. For the past 28 years I have been flying for a major airline and maintaining a marriage and raising children on the fly. LeTesha Williams

Letesha Williams is a Certified Restaurant Trainer who develops leaders For Carrols Corporation. She began her career 17 years ago as an hourly team member and quickly climbed the ladder with great work ethic, a passion for coaching and developing, and hard work. As a leader, she coaches and develops future leaders. Her calm spirit allows her to capture the hearts of those she works with and help them realize their true potential. She is an instructor for Basic Management Training and is one of the most requested trainers in her company. In her spare time, she uses her writing to help others overcome adversity. Her knack for descriptive writing allows those to envision what they are reading and feel the words on each page. As she continues to find her voice, she aspires to free others by being a model for forgiveness, displaying God’s love, and showing others that they too can overcome any situation. She is the mother of one daughter and grandmother to one grandson.

Lisa Thomas-Lewis

Lisa Thomas-Lewis is an author, speaker and Financial consultant who lives her life as a purpose driven woman of God that is passionate about helping others to evolve and live a life of abundance. A native of the Metro Detroit area in Michigan, Lisa graduated from Hampton University in Virginia where she earned a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Strategic Management from Davenport University. Lisa is a corporate Financial professional that has always had a passion to help others especially young adults. She is a taskmaster and professional motivator at helping people to maximize their life experiences. She believes in helping people to cultivate their lives in order to build a profitable legacy for themselves and their families. She is the CEO of LRT and Associates LLC her Property management company and Legacy Lessons with Lisa, LLC that helps to empower individuals to fulfill their purpose in life by focusing on their health, wealth and visions for living an authentic and strategic filled life. When she finds time to relax she enjoys spending time with her family, attending sporting and music events and traveling abroad.

Nettie Williams

Nettie Williams is a single mom, all the way from Orrum North Carolina, by way of Long Island NY. She is the mother of four beautiful children and five amazing grandchildren. Nettie focuses daily on making sure she is an example of a Proverbs 31 woman for them. She is a trendsetter and loves to encourage and push others to be successful. Her goal is to design a path for others to follow and do better than she had done. This is Nettie’s first published work, and she prays her words will enable readers to tear down the walls within.

Renee Summers

Renee Summers is a North Carolina Native who is passionate about helping other women especially grandparents to become the centerpiece for grandchildren to blossom in every area. Demonstrating to the grands how to achieve goals, handle emotional scenarios, stay healthy, love one another and most of all love the Lord. Renee Summers was born in Greensboro, NC on 30th November 1963. She graduated from Dudley Sr High School in Greensboro, NC in June of 1982, and from Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology & Human Services in May 1988. She is the wife of Randy Summers of 31 years. The mother of two dynamic children, Christina 30 and Matthew 27. Her daughter Christina is married and has her two adorable grandsons, Tyler 3 and Carter 1. She is an entrepreneur who has her own business in direct sales marketing with Total Life Changes, as well as “Sweet Pearl’s Pound Cakes”, and Gramps4Growth.

Rashonda Moore

Rashonda Moore was born in Michigan, raised in California and is the oldest of four children with the same parents. Initially skeptical about embracing and sharing a piece of the puzzle that is my life, Rashonda decided to write my truth with the intention and expectation of helping others. She found her healing in revealing personal vulnerabilities, hurts, and mistakes, but most importantly her triumphs. Rashonda has been blessed with three beautiful children, a sound mind, an open heart to give & receive love, and a full understanding that she is perfectly imperfect; bruised but not broken and placed under pressure so that she can continue to shine.

Roz Gee

After navigating and surviving more than a decade of downward spiral, Roz A. Gee discovered that she was the irrefutable proof of her own story (experiences.) She’s on a mission to help others embrace the reality that they, too, are The Evidence. A native of coastal, southeastern North Carolina, alumni of Fayetteville State University, and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Roz and James currently resides in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. As the owner of a media and branding firm, The Rated Gee Agency, LLC (www.RatedGee.com), Roz is a published author, speaker, media consultant and contributor working with high-achieving business leaders, influencers and celebrities. Her work has been featured in Gospel Today, Black Enterprise, ESSENCE, Ebony, American Express, INC. Magazine, The Huffington Post, FOX and ABC.

Tramaine Wimbush

Tramaine Wimbush is the CEO and Founder of Full Circle Life Coaching. She is also the first Lady at God’s House of the Remnant. For over 20 years Tramaine has helped many women break free from being a prisoner within, and not only has she helped women stop being a slave to their own thoughts. She has also reinforced the importance of living full circle in the mind, body and soul. The strategics that Tramaine used has not only set her clients free, but she herself has been freed from bondage by applying these methods to her life. She has helped women reclaim their power back by first identify where they are in their current state. Learn how to shift your mindset and think positively.
